It doesn’t matter how beautiful the suit is or how expensive those pants are if they aren’t ironed and pressed properly you may as well have turned up in your boxers or khaki shorts. Simply put, ironing is just as important as using the right deodorant and finetuning your male grooming ritual.
When learning how to iron pants, don’t set the iron too hot. It will take a little longer to get the creases out, but wouldn’t you prefer that to a burn mark? Elegance takes patience.
Turn pants inside out. Start with the pockets
Place on leg on top of the other until they are perfectly aligned.
Smooth out the lining and press the iron against the pants.
Lift the pants, turn them over and press the iron against the other side.
Line up the waistband and board. Place the pants flies down. Iron the waistband.
